Requirements:

– Up-to-date immunizations; annual flu shot and covid vaccine, preferred
– Clear background check, driving record and drug test
– CPR/First Aid certified prior to start date

Start Date:
This position is open now, but the family is able to wait for the right fit.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 30 hours per week. Additional hours on the weekend may be requested, but not required.

Pay Range:
$25.00–$30.00/hour, depending on experience, education, and expertise. Overtime rate of time and a half applies if the Household Assistant were to ever work over 40 hours/week. Expected gross weekly pay is $800–$960/week, or $41,600–$49,920 annually. Taxes will be withheld.

Benefits:
The family will offer 8 PTO days for vacation, sick, or personal time. Family will offer 6 paid holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. When transportation is needed, mileage will be reimbursed at the federal rate. The family guarantees 30 hours/week pay, even when they are on vacation or end the day early.

Children:
The family has  two children, a 17 month old daughter and a 2 month old daughter. Care for one or both of the girls will only be on occasion. The family employs a full-time nanny.

The parents are hands-on and prioritize intentional, positive parenting with routines. Mom is a stay-at-home parent who will be both present and hands-on, as well as out of the house at times. Dad works outside of the home.

Duties Include:
The family seeks a household assistant who can proactively support household tasks such as: managing the family’s laundry, overall general organization, unloading the dishwasher/washing dishes + bottles, wiping counters, vacuuming, tidying, running errands and grocery shopping (Instacart access provided). Able to cook for the family (plans, shops and prepares meals). This would be alongside the full-time nanny whose primary responsibility is caring for the children. On occasion the Household Assistant may be asked to fill in with childcare.
