Requirements:

Schedule:
25.5 hours/week, 3 days/week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mom’s work schedule fluctuates, so the family would prefer flexibility with the days worked each week. However, they are also happy to establish a consistent, set schedule if that is the nanny’s preference.

Pay Range:
$25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and expertise.Overtime rate of time and a half would go into effect if the nanny ever worked over 40 hours/week. Based on a 25.5 hour workweek, the expected gross pay is $637.50–$765.00 per week, or approximately $33,150–$39,780 annually. Applicable taxes will be withheld.

Benefits:
Family will offer 10 PTO days to be used for vacation, sick and personal days. Nanny will have 6 paid holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day). In addition, when the family travels, the nanny will have an additional 2-3 weeks per year off and paid.The family will reimburse miles driven during the workday at the federal mileage rate. The family will guarantee pay at 25.5 hours/week, even in the case where the nanny is given unrequested time off, when the family vacations or ends a day early. Healthcare stipend is negotiable.

Children:
The family has one son who is currently 2 months old. B2mos is an easy-going, happy baby who is becoming increasingly curious and alert, always wanting to see what’s happening around him. He loves smiling, laughing, being silly, and “chatting” through coos and babbles. He enjoys being sung to, spending time on his play mat, and going for a family walk each day. He has good head control and is rolling over. His typical day follows an eat, play, sleep routine. He usually wakes between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. and takes about five naps each day. The  parents are following his cues as he naturally settles into a routine rather than adhering to a strict schedule. His bedtime is typically between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m., and he has recently begun sleeping 6 to 9 hour stretches overnight. B2mos is currently breastfed and can take a bottle., and Mom will be pumping so the nanny will be bottle-feeding expressed breast milk during the workday.

They hope to raise their son to be a caring, respectful person who is curious about the world and understanding of others. They enjoy spending time together outdoors, whether it’s going for hikes, riding bikes to local breweries or restaurants, or exploring different parts of the city. Mom works in healthcare with a rotating schedule that varies from week to week. Dad works from his upstairs home office. He has a full schedule of meetings throughout the day but may occasionally come downstairs during breaks. They are excited to watch him grow, learn, and discover the world around him, and they cherish the smiles, connection, and unconditional love that come with parenthood.

Duties include:
Basic care and cleanup after children. Children’s meal prep. Children’s laundry. Keeping the house picked up and orderly, wiping counters/table, vacuuming, putting stuff away, etc. Transportation.

Pets:
The family has one dog, a Labrador Retriever and Shepherd mix. He is a low-maintenance companion who spends most of his day relaxing on his bed. The nanny will not be responsible for any pet care.
