Family values:
This family values kindness and respect for others, including family, friends, neighbors, and those with different views or backgrounds. They emphasize honesty, ambition, and hard work. From an early age, they believe in instilling chores and responsibilities to set a schedule for and are committed to education. They enjoy spending time together, including outdoors activities, with daily walks with the dogs, the pool and the gym together. They like to travel to see family and plan to take trips with their son at a young age to help acclimate to different environments. The home is a great neighborhood for a nanny to take walks. Mom works in office 3 days a week and from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. Dad works from home but will occasionally go into office or travel for business. Both parents have separate home offices. They encourage their son and give him every opportunity to succeed. As he continues to grows, they will enjoy doing things together—watching games, coaching his sports, mowing the lawn, and taking care of things around the house and family walks with their dogs.
Duties include:
Basic care and clean up after the child. Child’s meal prep. Child’s laundry. Keeping the house picked up and orderly, wiping counters/table, vacuuming, putting stuff away, etc. Nanny will be asked to keep a simple written log to support communication with parents.
Pets:
The family has 2 dogs (Samoyeds); both so sweet and kind. No pet care is required but the nanny should enjoy being around dogs.
Hopes:
Ultimately, the family is seeking a temporary part-time or full-time professional nanny who is safety-conscious, dependable and nurturing. An ideal candidate should have toddler experience. The position would be Monday, January 5th through Friday, June 26th.
