.
About the Family:
A widowed mom of two in Cincinnati is looking for a true household MVP — a highly organized, proactive, and upbeat House Manager/Nanny to help keep her home running smoothly and provide consistent, fun, and engaging care for her very high-energy 11-year-old son. This home is filled with love, activity, pets, and — let’s be honest — a bit of daily chaos. The younger son, B11, is bright, funny, and extremely active. He’s happiest at home but benefits from a little encouragement to step outside his comfort zone and try new things. B16 is fairly independent, so the primary focus of this role is supporting B11’s daily routines and managing the household. The family is looking for someone who can bring calm to the storm — someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys managing the many moving pieces of a busy home, and can keep things running like a well-oiled machine (or at least something close). A positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a love for the beautiful messiness of family life are key.
.
Role + Duties:
The Nanny/Household Manager role would be about 50% childcare tasks and 50% household support, including: Basic care of child (B11), planning and encouraging activities for B11, helping him get out and stay engaged outside the house. Occasional driving for golf practice or planned outings (no daily school transportation required). Keep the household running: tidying, organizing, light cleaning, laundry, grocery runs, errands, pet care, etc. Consistent dinner preparation and family meal support – helping plan, prep, and cook simple, healthy meals, grocery shopping and keeping the kitchen organized and functional. Maintaining home order and flow. Managing routines and household needs without a checklist.
.
Pets:
The family has one very large dog and two small dogs. Pet-friendly candidates only.
.
Hopes:
Ultimately, the family is seeking a confident and compassionate household professional—someone dependable, organized, and equally comfortable managing both child-related and home responsibilities. Experience with high-energy children is preferred, along with a calm, creative approach to daily life. They’re hoping for a long-term fit: a dedicated partner who can become a consistent, trusted part of the family’s rhythm and routines.
