Children:
This family currently has a 4-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter; mom is pregnant with triplets due in July. B4 is very outgoing but can be reserved at first. He’s a rule-follower who responds well to firm guidance, listens well, and thrives with active play. He enjoys baseball, other active sports, being outdoors and building with Magna-Tiles. He currently attends a daycare 8:00/8:30 AM – 5:00/5:30 PM, with naps during the week at daycare only. In the fall, he will transition to a Pre-K program running from 7:50 AM to 2:30 PM, five days a week. G2 is an extremely sweet and easygoing child who is happy to observe and play independently. While she’s more passive at school, she can be assertive and push boundaries at home. She’s playful, engaging, and enjoys interacting with her brother. She loves baby dolls, books, dancing, singing, and often makes up her own songs. She’s chatty with a great vocabulary. Having experienced physical delays earlier on, she underwent physical therapy but has since caught up. She currently attends daycare but will be home soon, participating in a toddler enrichment program a couple of mornings a week in the fall. With triplets on the way, mom is thoughtfully preparing for the exciting yet busy season ahead. She’s focused on creating a positive routine that will help the household run smoothly and ensure each child feels loved and supported. Mom values one-on-one time with each of her children and is committed to carving out special moments with all of them. Having nursed her first two, she’s considering a combination of exclusively pumping, formula feeding, or both to best meet the triplets’ needs. A night nanny will be in place to support them, which they hope will help establish a healthy sleep schedule for the babies. Additional help with both nanny care and household support to help maintain a routine will be invaluable.

Family values:
This family values kindness, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic. They believe in fostering curiosity and encourage their children to explore and learn. Family time is cherished, and they enjoy spending time with both sets of extended family, who live nearby. They also love connecting with friends and their kids. Outings, neighborhood walks, outdoor play, and family movie nights are some of their favorite ways to spend time together. The parents believe in setting clear expectations and using consistency to guide their children. While they recognize that their younger child is still learning boundaries, they encourage their older child to earn privileges through positive behavior and responsibility. Incentives and structure are key in their parenting approach. Mom will stop working and be home starting in June, with the triplets expected in July. Dad primarily works outside the home, he occasionally works from home as well. He experiences a heavier workload for about 4-6 months each year, so a nanny to support early mornings would be especially helpful during these busier months. For these parents, the most rewarding part of parenting is watching their children’s personalities emerge and their relationships evolve. They see their kids as genuinely fun and enjoyable to engage with!

Role explained:
This Nanny/Family Assistant position is for a professional who can work independently and take initiative. While mom is home, this is not a mother’s helper role. The family seeks a high-caliber, self-starting nanny who can confidently identify and address tasks without constant direction. Mom and nanny will have clear directives and defined roles, working as a team. There will be designated times where responsibilities are divided, such as mom taking the older kids out one-on-one. Adaptability will be key as the triplets grow and their schedules evolve. The ideal candidate will be a proactive partner, helping the household run smoothly and sharing responsibilities without needing constant check-ins.

Duties include:
Basic care and clean up after children. Children’s meal prep. Family laundry. Keeping the house picked up and orderly, wiping counters/table, vacuuming, putting stuff away, etc. Washing family dishes, unloading/loading the dishwasher. Transportation. Household support. Running errands or grocery pick up, etc. The family employs a housekeeper to do the deep cleaning.

Pets:

The family does not have any pets.

Hopes:
Ultimately, the family is seeking a professional long-term nanny/household manager who is experienced, reliable, and nurturing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of professional childcare experience, including experience with infants and managing multiple children at once. While previous nanny experience and experience with multiples (twins or triplets) are preferred, they are not required. The family values a candidate who is dependable, punctual, and committed to following through on responsibilities. Strong organizational skills, initiative, and adaptability to the changing needs of the children and family are essential. The ideal nanny will be engaging, playful, and active with the children, fostering a positive and nurturing environment while promoting learning. The family requires a 1 year commitment, but could see the role being needed indefinitely (10+ years).
