Children:
The family has two children — a 6-year-old son and a 2-month-old daughter. B6 is creative, curious, and sweet-natured. He’s affectionate, sensitive, and kind. He thrives with steady reminders and gentle direction, as he can become distracted and tends to shut down if corrected too harshly. He enjoys playing outside, listening to music, working on arts and crafts (he has a dedicated craft desk and collection box), and has recently started reading—and enjoys it! He attends Kindergarten at Deer Park; mom typically handles drop-off and pickup. The nanny will help create a predictable after-school routine: snack time, an hour of independent play. During the summer he’ll attend Zoo Camp for a couple of weeks in August and play 1–2 days a week at a friend’s house. He was recently diagnosed with ADHD, and the family is currently working with a psychologist to better understand and support him. G2mos is a calm and quiet baby who enjoys being held. She’s already showing physical strength—holding her head up and pushing with her legs—and is becoming more observant of her surroundings. She is nursing but is also used to bottle-feeding with breastmilk. Mom hopes to continue nursing during the day as her schedule allows. They’re working on establishing a nap rhythm, though it’s still variable. Currently, she is usually up by 6:00 a.m., active until about 9:00 a.m., then naps for 2 hours in the morning and again for a couple of hours around 1:00 p.m.

Family values:
This family values kindness, inclusivity, and embracing differences. While they come from diverse backgrounds—being of mixed ethnic descent including Filipino and Christian—they believe in respecting all people and perspectives. They prioritize curiosity and encourage asking questions and embracing the “whys” in life. Quality time is at the heart of their family life, with a focus on the home and family-centered activities. They enjoy learning about different places and cultures, and often incorporate these interests into their life. Family dinners are a cherished tradition, followed by evening family time, which might include board games, video games, reading, and winding down for bed. While they are homebodies at heart, they place a high value on spending time in nature and prioritize travel, such as their upcoming month-long trip to Canada. The family enjoys a flexible schedule, understanding that “kids are kids.” Clear consequences and rewards are part of their approach, with a focus on positive guidance. They engage B6 in activities that spark his interests and try to make chores fun and engaging.Mom works from home and maintains a flexible schedule, typically working from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Her office is on the 3rd floor away from the children, though she may come down for lunch.  Dad has a varying schedule, but will be working outside the home on the days the nanny is there. working from home 2-3 days a week. For them, the greatest joy in parenting is watching their children develop their own unique personalities and encouraging them to expand on their existing interests.
