B2 is also very active. He is just beginning to talk but very communicative. He enjoys playing independently and is getting into everything. The family keeps a routine, but not a rigid schedule. B2 regularly attends story times, activities and weekly play group. He naps 12:30-2:30 p.m. each day, waking in time for B4’s school pickup.

Family values:
This family values integrity and honesty and seeks to teach their boys to have manners and be respectful, empathetic and kind. As they grow they will challenge them to dream big. They enjoy spending time with extended families, traveling, taking walks, hiking and biking. The family lives walking distance to Ault Park. Both parents work full time. Dad works outside of the home. Mom is sometimes around to play and hang out during the day, but will also sometimes work out of the home at her studio. Nanny should be comfortable with that and be able take the lead. The family currently employs a full-time nanny who has committed to stay through Dec 20th and assist in hiring a replacement. The parents would say the best thing about parenting is watching their sons grow and learn; they love watching their personalities develop.

Duties include:
Basic care and clean up after the children. Children’s meal prep. Family Laundry. Family dishes. Supporting tasks like organization or swapping out clothes seasonally. Transportation to activities (utilize memberships and clubs, zoo, etc.). Manage mail and clutter around the first floor. Occasional event prep assistance.

Pets:
The family does not have any pets.

Hopes:
Ultimately, the family is seeking a professional long-term nanny/household manager who is dependable, flexible and safe, attentive and aware. The family is pretty laid back and gives full rein to their childcare provider. When the nanny/household manager is there they are in charge. An ideal candidate would enjoy taking the boys for outings and activities and like to teach throughout the day. The family requires a 1 year commitment, but could see the role being needed for the next several years.
