Schedule:

Pay Range:
$25.00 – $30.00/hour dependent on experience, education, and expertise. At 10 hours per week, this is an expected gross income of $250–$300 per week. Guaranteed hours each week. Taxes will be withheld.
Child:
Care is for the newborn son, age 2 months. The role focuses on attentive infant care during the mornings before he begins daycare on June 1. He is a combination-fed infant who takes a bottle easily; the nanny will prepare bottles during working hours and keep a simple log of feedings and diaper changes. He typically eats every 2–3 hours on demand, is awake about an hour between feeds, and naps in between. The family encourages neighborhood walks when the weather is nice and age-appropriate engagement such as tummy time. The baby sometimes benefits from being worn in a carrier to help settle for sleep, so the nanny should be comfortable using one and helping work toward one to two crib naps during the day.
Family values:
The family is friendly, talkative, and communicative. As this is their first nannying experience, they value clear updates and a brief log of feedings, naps, and activities to help them feel comfortable and informed. Mom will use this time to run errands and work out. Dad works from home but will be unavailable during care hours. The neighborhood is very walkable and ideal for stroller walks.
Duties include:
Basic infant care: feeding, diapering, nap routines, soothing, and light clean-up related to the child (bottles, play area, etc.). Nanny should be proactive and confident in meeting the infant’s needs without extensive direction. Driving the child will not be required.
Pets:
The family has a friendly 12-year-old lab/pit mix in the home. The nanny should be comfortable around dogs.
Hopes:
The family is seeking a reliable, warm, and communicative nanny who is confident caring for a young infant. The ideal candidate is nurturing, attentive, and proactive, helping the parents feel comfortable during this temporary care period.
