About the Family:
A widowed mom of two in Cincinnati is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and upbeat Household Manager/Nanny who can keep her home running smoothly and provide warm, encouraging support for her very high-energy 11-year-old son. This home is lively, active, and full of love — and includes three dogs (one very large and two small). Because the dogs are an important part of daily life, the family needs someone who is genuinely pet-loving, attentive, and able to give them interaction and care throughout the day. The younger son, B11, is bright, funny, and happiest at home, but he benefits from gentle encouragement to try new things and explore new activities. B16 is fairly independent, so the primary focus of this role is supporting B11 and managing the flow of the household. The ideal candidate brings calm to the chaos, enjoys managing the moving pieces of a busy home, and thrives in an environment where autonomy is valued.

Role + Duties:
This role is approximately 75% household management and 25% childcare. Household responsibilities include keeping the home tidy and organized, managing laundry, completing grocery runs and errands, meal planning and preparing simple, hearty dinners, handling daily pet care, and maintaining the overall order and flow of the home. The family is looking for someone who can identify what needs to be done and take care of it without constant oversight or detailed instructions. Childcare responsibilities include planning engaging activities for B11, encouraging him to get outside the house, supporting his routines, and providing a steady, nurturing presence. There is occasional driving for activities such as golf practice, but no daily school transportation.

Pets:
The family has one large dog and two small dogs. A truly pet-friendly candidate is essential, as daily attention, affection, and engagement with the dogs is part of the household rhythm.

Hopes:
The family hopes to find someone dependable, compassionate, and confident — a long-term partner who can bring warmth, structure, and positivity to their daily life. They especially value someone who can nurture children with patience and creativity, encourage them to explore new activities, and support a home environment that feels stable, supportive, and well managed.
