Children:
The family has two children — a fun-loving, energetic 2-year-old son and a sweet, easygoing 7-month-old daughter — with a third baby girl due this fall. B2 is goofy, active, and curious. He loves music, singing (they have a song for everything!), books, puzzles, and anything with wheels. He thrives with structure. Naps from 1–3 p.m. and will start part-time preschool nearby in Fall 2026. He has well-managed asthma (inhaler used as needed) and is in feeding therapy due to low growth, but doing well. G7mos is calm and observant — the classic middle child. She’s starting to crawl and loves watching her brother, playing with activity cubes and her baby piano. She is bottle-fed and is starting solids. She takes a few naps a day, but will likely transition to 2 naps soon. Baby Girl is due in the fall, but care for her will not start until April next year, when she is 6 months old. She will be formula-fed with bottles.
Family values:
This family deeply values kindness, inclusivity, and respect for others. As a family rooted in the service industry, they hold a high regard for empathy, patience, and meaningful interaction with others. They are raising their children to be confident, self-sufficient, and independent thinkers. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and a strong work ethic are qualities they aim to foster early on. They enjoy quality time together — exploring favorite local spots like the zoo or aquarium, taking neighborhood walks, playing, reading books before bed. The parents’ approach is proactive and nurturing, emphasizing patience, using techniques like counting to ten, offering choices (“first this, then that”), speaking at the child’s level, and setting boundaries following through. Mom works in healthcare out of the home, and Dad works remotely from a home office on the first floor. Both are busy with work during the day, they view the nanny as the authority and extension of their parenting team. They welcome collaboration and are open to learning from their nanny as well. The home includes a basement space designed for the children to play and explore. They say the best part of parenting is watching their children learn new skills, and getting to experience the world through their eyes. Their goal is to grow together as a family and be each other’s greatest support system. They are excited to see the kids grow up together and be each other’s support system.
