Start date:
ASAP

Schedule:
32-40 hours per week, 4 or 5 days/week. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays needed, other work days have flexibility to the nanny’s desire. The family has flexibility for the nanny to help decide the hours, for example it could be 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day.

Pay Range:
$23.00-25.00/hour, dependent on experience, education, and expertise.  While this is a large range, they are truly open to see all levels of candidates. In addition, the family will provide opportunities to re-evaluate and grow in compensation with time. Overtime rate of time and a half goes into effect after 40 hours/week. The expected gross amount is $736 – 1,000/week, or $38,272 – $52,000 annually, depending on the hours/week agreed upon. Taxes will be withheld.

Benefits:
Family will offer 14 PTO days to be used for vacation, sick and personal days. Nanny will have 6 paid holidays (Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day). In addition, the nanny will typically have 1-2 weeks off when the family vacations. The family will reimburse miles driven during the workday at the federal mileage rate. The family will guarantee pay based on the agreed upon hours, even in the case where the nanny is given unrequested time off, when the family vacations or ends a day early.

Children:
The family has two children, a son who is currently 4yrs old and daughter who is 2yrs old. Both children are happy, active, curious, and healthy toddlers. B4 attends preschool 3 days a week, enjoys playing outside and going on adventures (zoo/museum/parks/pool). He has consistent quiet time each afternoon. Family limits screen time. G2 will attend preschool in the fall of 2025 3 days a week. She enjoys reading, playing outside, and going on adventures.  Girl toddler has a consistent nap each afternoon.

Family values:
The parents hope their children are social and able to engage well with others, be active and remain curious with a posture to learn and grow. They simply want to teach them good morals, to be honest and loving. Parents are social people, love to travel but are also content and cozy at home. The parents would say the best thing about parenting is “watching our littles grow into little people”!

Duties include:
Basic care and cleaning up after the children. Children laundry (1-2 times/week as needed). Making bottles/meals. Transportation. Keeping the house picked up and orderly and the kitchen tidy – wiping counters/table, loading/unloading the dishwasher, etc. Keeping the child’s areas and floors safe – vacuuming, putting stuff away, etc.

Pets:
The family does not have any pets.

Hopes:
Ultimately, the family is seeking a professional nanny who is responsible, engaging and nurturing. The family seeks to find a nanny who truly enjoys their work with children, has experience with infants and knows how to guide them toward development and growth. They should be loving, warm, kind and gentle in their approach with their children. The family requires a 1 year commitment, but would also hope to find a fit that would like to stay with the family for the next 3+ years.
